If the wireless mic's original battery is 9-volts, of course you can use your rechargeable 9-volt battery
as long as it has the same physical size that will fit into the mic.

Hi Chom,

I hope I'm not too late.

Dar is right about the size but ..... Not all rechargeable batteries may be used in wireless microphones!

Rechargeable batteries available locally do not recharge high enough to meet the power requirements of wireless mics's transmitter. If you happen to buy NiCd or NiMH batteries you may have issues with Memory. When your battery, rechargeable or otherwise, falls below the minimum frequency the mic needs to function up to specification, things get really scary. I have not tried lith-ion personally but have my doubts.

There is talk of commercial grade 9 volt Nickel-Hydride rechargeable batteries but I have not tried them either. I'd play safe with lots of fresh Alkaline batteries in by box. I'd change them as often as I can.
